Winona Christian football teenager Graham knows what his team faces on Friday night.

In the second round of the 3A playoffs on Friday night, the No. 1 Greenville Christian Saints led 44-0 at halftime and defeated the Stars 50-0.

Winona Christian ended the season with a 3-8 record.

Graham said his team escaped the game without injury.

"I thought we implemented our game plan," Graham said. "We ran the clock and did a good job of managing the clock. We ran in tackles throughout the game, and that's what the numbers indicate. We just can't compare with them on the defensive end of football. They almost do They wanted to do it. As far as our game plan is concerned, this may be our best in a whole year, and we implemented it."

Greenville scored in the first game with a 49-yard touchdown pass. They converted the two-pointer and led 8-0. The Saints then resumed a side kick and quickly scored in a 37-yard touchdown pass. The two tried very well, and Greenville quickly took a 16-0 lead.

In their third offense, Greenville only needed two offenses to reach 32 yards, and the Saints converted two points to 24-0.

The star team turned the ball over again and passed it to Greenville with 28 points. The Saints scored in a 28-yard game, but failed in a two-point conversion and took a 30-0 lead at the end of the first quarter.

The Stars then made an interception and Greenville passed the ball back to 38 yards for a touchdown with 10 minutes and 15 seconds left in the half. The two tried very well, and Greenville Christina led 38-0.

The Stars missed their next possession, but the Saints called TD back with a block in the backcourt. The Saints needed three games this time to find the end zone, as they scored a 44-yard touchdown with 4:29 left in the first half and led 44-0 at the end of the half.

Greenville Christian added second-half points for the 50-0 final.

"No one bet on the whole game," Graham said. "Each time we fell four times, we adopted our Lane Kiffin philosophy. The analysis did not work well for the Christians in Greenville. You have to pay tribute to their people. After the first series of the second half, he was attacking They came off the bench and progressed very fast. We were out healthy, and they were out healthy. After the game, they were very kind."

Graham said he thinks his team has shown significant improvement from the beginning to the end of the season.

Graham said: "The interesting thing is that we started the season with a 50-0 loss and ended with a loss." "But the increase between the two losses is surprising. I think we are for us. The future can lay the foundation for what this group of kids can do. Jack (Vail) grows up to be a quarterback and has effectively pitched for most of the season. Our receiver is back and it will be better there . We have to find some wingers, but the core of our team is coming back. We need to spend a nice winter and summer in the weight room."
